Sorry there isnt a background today. I'll get it in tomorrow night. (ah, the wonder of saving in multiple files...) Its just that I work at 10AM tomorrow, and its already 2:15AM. I'm making sacrifices for you guys... that and I'm trying to keep from having Kait mad at me. She sent me an angry E-mail already, and I dont realy blame her, since the last comic was up on the 17th... *sigh*
Well, anyways, Eyem (my computer) seems to be up and running - finaly - so I should be able to make up for the lack of comic.
This might mean canceling my SWG account. Oh well. Its a great game, and all, there just arent realy any real quests or anything that makes you feel like youre doing something important. I've already cancled my EverQuest account. Idaknow... Its money I'm saving anyways. *sigh* I'll have to wait to play it, I guess, til' College... Or MAYBE I can still fit it in..? I mean, I paid ALOT of money for the damn thing... God damn, these infernal snakes, charming me into throwing away all my savings!

TIME FOR ME TO APOLOGIZE!
Sorry the comic isnt up yet. I've been having more trouble with my computer lately. It seems the RAID array doesnt like my computer anymore, and spontaniously resets itself... well it spontaniously does SOMETHING that makes it disasociate my three hard drives (though I only ordered 2..? What the hell...)... So anyways, I just unplugged it, and it works now. I'd like to thank my tek man, Mike, for this idea, since that made it start up when I had it at his shop yesterday. *looks at clock* day before yesterday.
Here's my excuse (though a poor one) why I only have 2 frames done after 2 weeks...
I had a bad day at work. NO, I mean it. I havent broken that many things in a year as I did today. I must have cost the store over $80 today... Just by coming to work, including pay, I probably did about $130 in damages. *L* I dropped a whole case of realy expensive beer, and about 7 of them came unsealed and started spraying all over. Of course, this made all my booze-loving co-workers extatic, cause they had to be written off... So they got free beer. Damnit. That was right after I was complaining about how all alchohol is, is POISON! BAAH! I also put organic olive oil in a thing partialy full of non-organic olive oil... theirfore, making it ALL non-organic olive oil. Thats about $20-$30 of the damages right there... I also shattered a Ginger Ale bottle when trying to do some recycling, too, but that only cost the store 5 cents. *L* Fortunatly after work I was able to stop by my the abode of my friend, Lah, as I call her. She's a ray of light, she is. I got to chat with her about stuff ranging from Anime to Origami... and... hmm, I guess the talk didnt strey too far from japan related topics... Well, excepting that we talked about her graphics pad (which is more than twice the size of mine... x_x) Anyways, my excuse for visiting her and not coming streight home and working on the comic is that I promised her I'd lend her my copy of Final Fantasy 8, cause her's freezes durring the FMV when she's goin' into the Lunatic Pandora. I got to pose for her, too, for a .hack//sign (is that how it goes?) fanart she's doing for a contest. Gawd I wish I had cartoon network anymore. I miss watching anime on anything but my computer. :) I just watched 3 episodes of Ranma 1/2 for artistic reasons... that and to cheer me up more. I love Ranma 1/2. :D

These new Keyboards suck.

I ended up having to buy a new keyboard for my new computer, cause the old keyboard had some kind of huge klunky connector... one that looked like a PS2 connection, but about 3 times the size. I think I knew what those relics were called at once point. The new keyboard I ended up getting (and paying a grand total of five bucks for cause it was on clearance AND sale, AND I had a $10-off-anything-in-the-store-over-$10-coupon-thingo-mo-gidget) turns out to be one of those keyboards that looks absolutly goregous, is put together extremely well, is comfortable to use, makes the most wonderful clicking sounds (Music to my ears!), and works perfectly in almost every facet of its construction.

Do you have a keyboard with a F Lock button? Do you game? Then you know what a bitch it is to try and remember to hit that key every time you start your computer up. Eventualy it just becomes part of the routine, but its still and über bitch. Not to mention before you actualy learn what the F lock is for, and cant use your function keys at all. Who's bloody briliant idea was this? By the gods, man, why in the freakin world did they turn OFF the function keys, and make you turn them on EVERY time you start your computer before you can use them? Lets turn off all the numbers and punctuation too. We dont want people speaking l33t. x_x Agh.

Anyways, I've got an date (If you can call it that... Not in the modern sense of the word, but the literal sense. Like apointment. Nooooooo misunderstandings here!) with a friend of mine for lunch today. She's been in California for about 3 weeks (seemed like ALOT longer than that) and just got back last week, so it'll be good to see her again. :)

By the way, working in a health food store, I've noticed something kind of eerie. I've noticed TONS of old ladies in perfectly good shape, not fat or anything at all (if anything kinda thin) coming into our store asking for "Atkins products." Well, first, Its a HEALTH food store. We dont sell any Atkins products because they've got tons of chemicals in them that make people sick. Second, No, we dont carry any Atkins products because we have a funny feeling that that diet isnt safe. I ask you: How the hell can you SURVIVE without carbohydrates!? If I go a DAY without carbs, my body starts to shut down and I get realy sick. Wierdos...
