Ok, so some jerks who seem to know what they're doing and talking about insulted the work Kait and I have been doing on this in front of hundreds of other web comic authors, which at the time pissed me off... but at the same time that they did that, they pointed out things that really actually do kind of suck about the site. Like, when I was designing the site, my monitor sucked and was dark, so I thought the contrast between the light blue links and the blue background was greater. Well, now that I actually look at it (and some guy decided to notify me of this by spewing bile as he typed), it's really kind of an eye sore. So I'm goina start making a few improvements to this fledgling site.
Here's what I've got planned:
//EDIT//
New goal. GET THE FSCKING ARCHIVES WORKING! - [X] Yeahhhhh, take that, ye nasty evil not very good bad-upload scum bag...
//END EDIT//
New background - [X] check
New logo for the top left corner - [ ] (Suggestions are welcome)
Make the backwards compatible* - [ ]
Get a "characters" page made - [ ]
Actually create the art for characters page - [ ] (Submitting drawings to Kait)
Get an "about the authors" page made - [ ]
Draw caricatures of Kait and I for said "about the authors" page - [X] check
Get some people to do some link exchange thingeys - [ ]
Get used to spell checking everything I do... [X] (Damn you and your pet peeves, Kait!)
So far, so good. I'm open to suggestions. Bring it on, guys. Lets here it! The voice of the people must be heard, even if there's only, ohhh, 20 of you so far?
On a related note (well, about the number of people that actually read this regularly) I'd really appreciate your involvement in the forums. :D
(*although I don't really see the point of not using a current browser... I mean, you cant just say "IE whatever is shit!" cause there's all sorts of other browsers out there than can handle this page, like Opera, and Mozilla... I think Mozilla can take it. I think Netscape can too, but I'll admit that I've committed a scripting no-no and I haven't tested it with anything but IE.)
